Compactor Rental in Los Cabos

Our CASE SV210 roller packs soil, base and asphalt into firm, even ground for roads, building pads and terraces in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo and beyond. It is part of our own Creatio Construction fleet, and a Creatio operator comes along only if you ask.

01 The point of compaction

Solid ground is built, not found

Freshly placed fill looks finished long before it is. Until it has been rolled, it can still settle, crack a slab or leave ruts in a new road.

A compactor closes that gap. Each layer of soil or gravel is spread, rolled and firmed up before the next one goes down, so the platform under a house, a parking area or a street stays where it was built. Asphalt gets the same treatment once it is laid.

The roller we rent is the same CASE machine we put to work on our own construction projects around Los Cabos. Book it through us and the same team can schedule the grading, the trucks and the aggregates around it. The roller is just one part of the construction equipment rental in Los Cabos.

02 The compactor fleet

One roller, fully specified

Creatio keeps a single compactor for rent. You know exactly which machine you are booking, and the figures below are the ones we publish for that unit.

03 When to rent it

Six jobs that call for a roller

If one of these lines describes the next stage of your project, a compactor belongs on the schedule.

  1. New roads and highways

Rolling the subgrade and each course of base so traffic does not rut a fresh roadway.

  2. Terraces on sloping lots

Firming the cut and fill levels of a hillside property before walls, slabs or landscaping go in.

  3. Subdivisions and developments

Preparing internal streets, lots and common areas when a whole development is being opened up.

  4. Water and drainage works

Hydraulic infrastructure, where backfill and the ground around it need to be dense and stable.

  5. Platforms and foundations

Stabilizing the soil under a building pad so the structure starts on a consistent, settled base.

  6. Asphalt and granular layers

Pressing gravel bases and asphalt to an even finish on parking areas, access drives and streets.

04 Choosing the machine

Loader, grader or roller?

On most earthwork the three machines take turns rather than compete. This is roughly where each one comes in. If you are unsure what your site really needs, we can work it out together.

  1. Stage 1

    Bring in and spread material

A front loader shifts fill and gravel across the site and loads the trucks.

    Front loaders
  2. Stage 2

    Shape and level the surface

A motor grader cuts and spreads the material to the right level and slope.

    Motor graders
  3. Stage 3 This page

Compact it so it stays put

The roller firms each layer before the next one, or before paving and building begin.

05 Why book with us

Rented by people who build

Heavy equipment rental in Los Cabos often runs through a middleman. Here, you deal directly with the owner of the roller.

  • 10+

    Years of construction behind it

More than a decade of our own projects shapes how we plan a compaction job with you.

  • A machine we own

The CASE SV210 sits in the Creatio fleet, so booking, transport and support stay with a single team.

  • A local Cabo San Lucas team

Our yard is in town, and the roller heads out from there to sites around the peninsula.

  • Add an operator when it suits you

Use your own crew, or put a trained operator from our staff on the booking.

  • A real talk about the job

Describe the area, the material and the schedule. You get a plain answer on whether the roller is the right call.

06 Operator option

Drive it yourself, or hand us the keys

Operator available on request. Nothing is added to your booking unless you ask for it.

Lane A Roller only

Your operator at the controls

We drop off the CASE SV210 and a qualified person on your team drives it for the whole rental.

Lane B Roller and operator

Our operator at the controls

Need an operator? We can provide one of our trained equipment operators. They are Creatio employees who know our machines well.

Mention in your first message whether you want our operator too. That way we can book them for the same days and price it in.

07 Service area

On the road from Cabo to the East Cape

Need compactor rental in Cabo San Lucas? The roller is already there. It also covers San José del Cabo and everything in between, then heads up the coast to East Cape communities or across to Todos Santos.

  • Cabo San Lucas Home base
  • San José del Cabo
  • All of Los Cabos
  • East Cape
  • La Ribera
  • Los Barriles
  • Todos Santos
  • Surrounding areas

Every booking is matched to the roller's calendar. We plan the haul around how far you are and how a truck gets in, and that cost shows up as a line in your quote.

09 FAQ

Compactor rental questions

What contractors and owners usually want to know before they book our CASE roller.

What compactor is in the Creatio fleet?

One machine: a CASE SV210 single drum vibratory roller from 2010. Creatio owns it outright and keeps it in our own yard, so the roller pictured on this page is the same one that comes to your site.

What does a vibratory roller actually do?

It turns loose material into a dense, firm layer. The weight of the machine and the vibration of its steel drum press the particles closer together, giving the next layer, slab or pavement solid ground to rest on.

Is the CASE SV210 a good fit for road work?

Yes. Road and highway construction tops the list of uses Creatio publishes for this roller, which is meant for granular base material as well as asphalt. For a street repair or a new access road, send the length and width of the section and the material, and we will plan the work around those details.

Can I use the compactor on a residential project?

Yes, where the area suits it. Building pads, terraces and subdivision streets are typical. This is a full size roller of about 10,000 kg with a 2.13 m drum, so it needs open ground and a way in for the trailer. For a narrow lot, send us the gate width and a photo first.

Can I rent the roller with an operator?

It is an optional extra. Mention it when you write and we will assign a trained Creatio employee, someone who drives our own equipment every week, to run the roller for you.

Can I rent it without an operator?

Yes. Many contractors have someone on their crew who runs rollers regularly. Tell us in your request that you will supply the operator, and we will quote the machine on its own.

What do you need from me to prepare a quote?

Six things: the site location, the task at hand, the surface or material to be compacted, your planned start date, the expected length of the rental and whether our operator should come along. Photos of the work area and the access road help us plan the haul.

Can you bring the compactor to my job site?

Transport is handled by us. The roller sets out from our Cabo San Lucas yard, and the haul is priced on the distance involved and how easily a truck can reach your work area. That figure is part of your individual quote.

What rental period can I book?

There is no standard term. The period is agreed job by job, based on the area and the schedule you describe. If the work runs longer than planned, let us know and we will look at extending it.

Is San José del Cabo inside your service area?

Yes. Alongside Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, we take roller jobs throughout Los Cabos, on the East Cape around Los Barriles and La Ribera, and in Todos Santos and other nearby areas.

How can I find out if the compactor is free on my dates?

Call, message us on WhatsApp, write to our email or use the online contact form, and include your dates. We check the roller's schedule and tell you when we reply, because bookings on other projects move its calendar.

Can I book the roller together with other Creatio equipment?

Yes, and on earthwork it often makes sense. A motor grader can shape and level the ground before rolling, a front loader or dump truck can bring in fill, and our materials team can supply aggregates for the base. One request can cover all of it.
